A Court of Thorns and Roses

A Court of Thorns and Roses - Sarah J. Maas Well, that didn't take long....

I love Sarah J. Maas. At times, her pacing can be weak, but overall I enjoyed how this book came together. I think there are some pieces that served very little purpose, but I guess there's still 5!?!? books to figure out if that is actually the case or not.

And dammit, I love an anti-hero. While I think Tamlin was lovely, Lucien was intriguing, my major crush from the moment he scared off the Fae bothering Feyre to the end was Rhysand.

What I think is odd is this could've been a stand alone. I guess there's more plot to be had and not having to say goodbye to characters, but I wouldn't have been less satisfied if it weren't part of a larger series.
