Cinder

Cinder - Marissa Meyer This book has been coming across my suggested list for the last, what 6 years? I've put it on and taken it off my TBR list so many times. I don't know why I resisted, but when it was picked for me for a challenge, I thought that was the push I needed. It is great, action-packed YA. It was a lot of fun. I felt there were a few contradictions I didn't quite understand (technology fully embraced via android, but shunned in cyborgs, Technology so advanced but magic still what-skirts it?)

These were not dealbreakers. I'm not sure where the Lunar Chronicles goes from here. It seems the next one has a different heroine, but I don't know where Cinder's story ends yet. Maybe that does come through in the next book, but I feel really really invested in that and feel it's going to be odd to be ripped from her world. Therefore, this is a 3.5 due to lack of outcome-it's an interesting and engrossing world, but it's not a self-contained story.
