DNF at 50%. It was a bit of a chore to get to this point, I've been a fan of S.E. Hall for a couple of years because what she wrote satisfied me at the time. Now, as I've gotten to know more authors, I'm thinking there's a bit of a gap between the reader I was then and the one I am now. I think I may have continued reading if not for the hero praising the heroine's looks every single discussion.

If I had forgiven that, I could see 2-2.5 stars for this. A couple of issues: light spoilers Bellamy is a virgin; JT a controlling loyal experienced man. This can be executed well, and it can not. Further, while I think many think it's romantic to have one and only one experience, JT would feel a little overbearing for many women and the dynamic did not work for me

I think I'm struggling with new adult these days in favor of more mature stories....
