To continue or not to continue...
I enjoyed this book enough to continue, but not enough to have dive right in for the next 4 or so years till I catch up. Sometimes I need a mystery-ish pace. Most of the time I just like this book when Roarke is in it. (Although I became a quick fan of peabody, and I'm curious if she'll have a story arc as well).
I think I'll deem this series on hold. Not to detract from the diehards, I'm just not a mystery/suspense fanatic and small doses are quite enough for me. And would it kill people to have men be the victims every so often?
Oh, and I'm not a fan of a twist that isn't foreshadowed or somewhat clear, but I also should know in >90 pages (not sure what point really) who the murderer is. It's kind of like on Law&Order when you see the B list actor who is familiar and you know "it's 100% that person. They are kind of famous"
Not fun-unless the journey getting there makes it worth it as is the case in many others
