New to this...

I think there's maybe something wrong with me. I'm utterly and profoundly bored by this book. You get this impression Meg is on the run but has no real sense of urgency. You get the sense that she's a total outsider in a dangerous place but ho-de-hum, having great days and just the nicest gal ever.

It's always a sign when I am looking up books, organizing shelves, and the like that I'm just not into the book.

I'm in the overwhelming minority here. I'm fine with that. I'd even try Anne Bishop again, but this book held nothing for me.
